※ emotional <-> unemotional

보통 같은 단어 앞에 un이 붙으면 그 반대의 의미로 쓰여요

자, 이제 TED 강연에서 unemotional이 어떻게 쓰였는지 볼게요 :)

 

 

 

 

■ TED 예문

 

He turns off the engines. Now imagine being in a plane with no sound.

조종사가 엔진을 끕니다. 아무 소리가 나지 않는 비행기에 있다고 상상해 보세요.

*turn off (전기, 가스, 수도 등을)끄다

And then he says three words. The most unemotional three words I've ever heard.

그리고 나서 조종사는 세 마디를 했는데, 이제껏 들어본 말 중 가장 냉정한 세 단어였어요.

He says, "Brace for impact," I didn't have to talke to the flight attendant anymore

"충격에 대비를 하세요." 전 더이상 승무원에게 말을 걸 필요가 없었죠.
